Universal Human Rights as a Local Political Platform - a thought.
I'm a bit of a sucker for well executed info-graphics, and I'm quite taken by this representation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Though the development of this was to further the understanding of the plight of the Burmese people, I think it bears watching in the context of the global, and local, situation today.
Perhaps, for people who are undecided about their Canadian electoral vote on Monday, this document (a "Human Rights Platform") could serve to guide your evaluation of the existing political parties published platforms, after all, whomever wins needs to govern for ALL Canadians, not just the ones who voted for them.
Please vote on Monday. Your vote counts.
